Okay here is the final version of Rackety's commission.
It has taken me quite a long time to finish this, and I must apologise for taking so long to complete it.
Hopefully the commissioner likes the finished piece.
Basically Rackety the raccoon is a character who loves mechanical or physical work and hangs out in his shed. So I ran with the idea and used a reference photo of my dads shed to base the background off.
I remember when I was little I would sneak around the shed discovering new tools or devices and that's where I got the idea for the young bear from.
Rackety is looking rather confused as to where his calipers have gone, and doesn't realise that a cheeky little bear has been sneaking around his shed.
Anyways enough babbling. This artwork was created on A4 watercolour paper using waterproof inking pens, prismacolour, copic and tria markers, prismacolor pencils, metallic and white gel pen.
Character belongs to Dan, artwork by Caboodles.
That's so awesome that you've been able to get a good night's sleep! Nothing like more than 10 hours of sleep a day to make you feel great. How was graduation?
Holidays are going okay. Didn't end up getting the job. When I went to the interview they acted like I had the job. But then I never got a call back with my working hours or anything. They probably found some younger people to work. *Grr at being 21* lol.
Also I did get that Golden Key letter. I get it about once a year. Except it costs like $100 to join.
graduation in itself was pretty boring - the gown's were way too hot and heavy and the mortar (hat) made me itchy...and that was heavy too...
Yeah I heard that Golden Key thing is expensive - but it is for life - thing is though, could you be bothered having this sheet of paper which gains you access to other universities? No idea if it actually grants you a job though.
Pity on the job - employers do that all the time at interviews.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
